Fundamentals

The fundamentals of Muay Thai are important for everyone - no matter the experience.

In this class we visit the key movement principles in Muay Thai and sharpen the basics so that they become your greatest weapons.

If you’re a complete beginner and you’ve never done any form of martial art before - we recommend you start here for the first session at least.

Breaking techniques down to it’s most basic form - this is where we build your foundations so that they are strong and reliable.

 

Muay Thai Sparring Drills Class

Partner drills for the whole class to hone different aspects of your fight game.

Sparring and Clinching drills with more focus on technique and timing rather than building power or conditioning.

Sparring Class

Put all your training into practice with supervised, controlled sparring with your fellow teammates.

You must bring a mouth guard and wear 16 oz gloves.

Anyone that does not listen to the supervising coach during sparring will be ejected from the gym.

Your safety if our number one priority.

Kids Muay Thai (8 - 12)

These classes focus on building Fundamental Muay Thai movements and self defence principles.

We work on instilling discipline and building confidence in a fun and inclusive way!

Teens Muay Thai (13 - 17)

Train with your friends and amongst teens your age.

Build technique and grow the fighters mindset from a young age to set you up for success in the future.

Competitive opportunities available but on a selective basis.

Clinching

Muay Thai is the art of 8 limbs but a commonly undertrained aspect is the clinch.

In the clinch, the two goals are to dominate your opponent’s posture and to cause damage with your closer ranged weapons - the elbows and knees.

Enjoy 30 minutes of clinching specific drills then 30 minutes of freestyle clinching with coaches supervision.

Yoga

Slow down, unwind and refocus with Yoga.

The yoga practised is traditional, classical yoga. A combination of Hatha and Ashtanga yoga, finishing with Pranayama and Shivasana. The language used for poses is traditional Sanskrit, with English explanations

Classes are suitable for Beginners and Intermediate levels, as options are given. All are welcome.

 

Fight Training

Invite only training regime for people interested in fighting.

Fighting at any level in Muay Thai/Boxing requires an immense level of dedication, commitment and discipline.

In order to develop the skills, strength, conditioning and mindset necessary to become successful in the ring - we require you to train at least 5 days per week for 2-3 hours per day.

Each fighter will have a structure that they follow and certain skills that they are honing. It is different for every individual.

Open Mat

Come and use the gym facility at your leisure during these times.

If you’re just keen to lift some weights or hit the bag with your training buddies - this is the best time to do it.
